Japan Fest!

The local community college (that I used to attend) held their annual Japanese Festival! This was my first year attending. It was quite fun, I went with a work-buddy of mine. The bottom two floors were dedicated to mostly traditional Japanese stuff, and the top floor was oozing with weeaboos where all the anime stuff was, almost like a tiny convention!

One room was full of traditional kimonos and samurai wear. This was by far the prettiest kimono so I took a picture of it. There were also some hina dolls but I failed to get any pics of them.

This was a cool guy playing a cool... thing. Uh... what is it called? It was really awesome, he was super good.

I had a very sad bubble tea. Probably he was upset because he was the worst tasting bubble tea i've ever had. I loooove this stuff oh man, you don't even know. I paid $4 for this and it was quite the disappointment.

...I have no words. Wtf is this, besides the most amazingly bad looking show(?) to ever exist. I really wanted this poster but at $30? Lol no way.

Some how I failed to snap a picture of my outfit, which sucks because it was really cute (BABYssb salon music JSK!)

Ooo that furisode is soooo pretty *-*

That poster promoting the show looks terribad though, lol. I guess the vampire craze is rampant over at Japan too.

The instrument is the shamisen, and that guy looks a whole lot like this guy:

He comes from a group of incredible musicians that used to perform rock versions of classical music:
