Food post!

So i've created some goodies in the kitchen recently, although this time I do not have a tutorial for you. Sorry!

Strawberry crepes! You can buy pre-made crepes at the store but I really don't recommend it. They're bland and gummy, plus crepes have just about the most simple recipe i've ever seen! Here's a nice one at About.com. Just cook like you would a pancake!
Then you put in yummy fillings and fold it in half. For these crepes I used;
Strawberries
Homemade whipped cream with vanilla
(raw) Cocoa powder on top

So simple and tasty!

You'll have to forgive my lack of a fancy camera, I just can't quite take food photography like some of my favorite blogs! If only I had more shallow depth of field...
I promise this was a lot prettier in real life! What you are seeing on this plate is;
Ginger teriyaki salmon
Asian green beans with almond
Tropical fruit salad.

This meal was quite a hit, the best I've ever made if I do say so myself. The salmon was perfect, I don't even know how I did it in fact... haha. My personal favorite was the fruit salad, I just threw it altogether! Who knew it would have been so tasty. Here's what was in it;
Diced mangos
Fresh pineapple chunks
Banana slices
Coconut cream

Again, it's so easy and delicious.

I love crepes. Have you ever tried yeast risen crepes. Super easy to make and the batter stays good in the fridge for days.

I'm glad I found this blog!

Two delicious looking recipes too bad I'm allergic to fish and strawberries. I'll try to make them for my wife though.
